Mugging Ghost Festival...

just went for my elective lesson this evening and had a relatively simple but tricky quiz ... stay for the lesson to listen to some tips and chance upon a different meaning for mugging ....

yes this is wat it suppose to mean and so we have been commiting crime all this while at LeeWeeNam Libary sia ... all those muggers(person who intent to rob using violence) mugging in LWN... lol was laughing all this while when talking to alan during the lesson and also "emo" also refer to a person who wore dark shirt and had black eyeliner on him/her all the while plus protray a forlon character... so all this while we have been seriously abusing all these words ... had a great laugh during tt lesson .. kinda lame though ...

anyways the official mugging or rather study (to be more accurate) period has started~! time extension for all the facilitites including those food outlets like Old chang Kee and Mac to cater to us muggers... (*grin)
so gonna start this saturday of my intense mugging period probably with js or jb

gt 3rd for inter year game in SCBE~! despite being playing once and also got beaten in that match we still manage to got 3rd ... dunno wth we had got this 3rd place sia ... anyways had a rather bad game lack of stamina and never created or score much .. totally cui ... lol .. i want to IMPROVE!!! gotta play bball now and then and run to keep up my stamina~! argh

after having the santosh dreadful quiz,now it is recess week~!
nth much to do ever since i finish my korean drama.. yawnz..
just celebrated my moms bday yesterday and bought her her fav choco cheese cake yummy ~!

route march home....

today is a special Saturday wee morning where i walk home from wee boon house~! desmond also route march back to his home at yew tee ... kinda a new experience ever since route march in army, this is kinda relax without the field pack and stuff just my little umbrella and walkman phone....

was having mj session earlier in the nite at boon hse, poor (literally) jh was the santa claus yet again... donating 15 dollar to me >.< nonetheless he emoed home and me boon and des went for supper after tt... realise tt iced lemon tea and hot curry is a deadly combi tt can make one stomach ache within few minutes lol... was suffering along the way b4 gg to boon hse to release myself from the suffering lol...

soon after resume my journey to home as boon dun have car this time so we had to walk home =)... the time i left was 2:13 am.. plugging my trusty walkman phone and little umbrella .. off i go then...
the weather was cooling with slight drizzle ... the street were empty only a few taxis starting to high beamed u just to pick me up... along the way took some photos of the deserted street ...

soon after reach the first chkpoint the esso gas station... but nv went in began to pick up my pace here and soon after reached cck road where everytime those L plate licence students will go thru one ... by then the drizzling stops and the weather clear getting a little bid humid ... along the way took photos of the fire station and the empty batok road ...


starting to get a little bit tired so tuned in to my mambo jumbo songs to keep me awake~ hehex soon reach Home team NS where cac foc 07/08 had their camp down there .. kinda bring back some memory =)... finally reached my home at 2:50 am not tt bad =)

first quiz of this sem!

just taken a quiz in the evening.. suppose to be easy as i tot it was just MCQs... even after the paper i tot i had did maybe perhaps only 3 wrongs .. but as me and my frens start to discuss... actually find out more and more wrong~! disappointing but it further convince me to SU this module ... cos sociology isnt my cup of tea i guess .. aim is to get A out of an elective but if i get B+ might as well SU lol... toking bout SU kinda regret nv SU one of my elective last sem haiz tt put my GPA way down argh...
more quizzes next week and after recess haiz ... start mugging lo~!

ok enuff of serious stuff ... had a pleasant early surprise this morning when jessie gave me a box of mooncake .. haha my fav "iced skin white lotus moon cake" and also got mango skin too haha kinda creative lol... shared among my frens during elective as i scared by the time i bring home will turn bad liao ... anyways it is very nice haha thx jessie ~! lol

on my way home saw a dog peeing at the some corner of a wall, then walk pass another HDB saw another dog doin that, then another one ... oh my gosh in a row see 3 diff dogs pee 3 times. seriously didnt know tt every corner is so filthy filled with dog pee everywhere just wondering y dogs see something tt is tall and standing will go pee .... so be careful dun lean on the wall ...

weekend coming soon and tmr is a short 2 hr lecture day hooray~
4 more episodes to finish for my korean drama nonstop 4... wonder wat other drama i could watch lolz...

dancing in september nv was a cloudy day~!

it is already september and for those in NTU it is week 6 ~! 8 more weeks to exam or rather 2 more months... so cool rite lol...

every year the modules are getting harder and harder .. staring at the fluids blankly for like 1 hr plus kinda give up on it and it is 4AU not forgetting computing too ... all these are screwing my life up lolz...

haha finally bother to wipe away the dust on my poor little blog ... never update for like 2-3 mths?

all the FOC(in july) are covered by fellow bloggers and nowadays had been pretty boring... self entertained myself thru watching korean drama...
watched Couple or Trouble recently broadcast by Channel U and got addicted to the female lead inside .. so went on to watch her past projects such as Non-stop 4(2003) which feature promising young stars today... 248 episodes to be exact so far only finish till 212 ... 36 more to go...planning to save up to go on holiday next break probably somewhere further maybe Korea?
thinking of taking korean as my last UE.. =)
meanwhile have to suffer for the time being eat mixed veg and chicken rice at cant A to save up >.<

really had a lot of fun these few weeks... did lotsa stuff la here and there, gatherings, food expo, work... was out everyday the past week nv really taste my mom's cooking seriously miss it sia haha ... here we go on recounting my eventful weeks =p

23-27th Pokka Food Expo 2008 me, benjamin and caiting

volunteer to do this event haha cos it is fun~! and also can take a break from the usual office work.. met new frens and enjoy the scenery out there =p haha

first day b4 starting work me and race went to the adidas warehse sale at hall 6 to buy adidas shoes ... the shoes there were dirt cheap but the sizes are no longer there so i have to settle with a green color shoe .. (hmm since i nv had one so just buy it) $49 dollars only =) and also bought a bball jersey for $15 which js and co say it looks $5.90 (damn u all grr) tot i had bought a lot but saw race bought even more shocked~! within tt short 15 mins she had gathered herself loads of stuff ... cos she said it is dirt cheap ...
so after shopping and satisfied we start work~! this year we are working with cash register so less hassle and stuff ... glad to see some familiar faces over there like xinying ~! haha but was quite sian tt gay partner jun is not ard (seriously) haha ... as usual being a cashier is just plain bored so went ard mingling with the promoters and shifting the goods, taking orders, clearing the rubbish etc etc ... playing lotsa roles ha.. and we smell like people dipped into oil and grease after every nite lolz
as weekend came more pple and busier we became... this year the juice we selling is blood orange some say nice some say not nice but i would still say i prefer pomegranate juice cos it is sweet ~! haha ... made new frens over there like jin long(zhen de), esther (alien1), jintai... and felicia chin look alike .. surprisingly some of them are from NTU lol ....
the last day we took lotsa photos here and there...

28th May - 2B outing

yes the long awaited 2B outing~ attendance was great... but seriously shld extend the invitation to the rest of the 2B members ... seriously think tt we are still very close to the one we met in secondary schools.. (lots of examples to prove it) .. had nice dinner at kim gary cafe.. super nice the bake rice i say but i order wrongly again...

roxy people who know me knew tt i cant take spicy food for good ... so the next 45 mins was a battle for me cold sweat and stuff make angel and huilin laugh like nobody business lolz... in the end nice angel still offer me half of her "yuan yang" to cease the fire haha... but once again it is nice la =)

then went to emo together at some amphitheatre on top of vivo talking to each otherr and especially huilin whom just came back from US after 3 year stay over there ~! lolz took some lame photos there and went for some dessert at hagen dass lolz =) had another long chat over dere again.. seriously 2B pple like to tok lolz ...

29th May - Seafood galore

aloysiuss the temp staff at pokka was leaving for kazhastan for 3 weeks .. yeah u nv see wrongly .. it is some ulu place over dere and the palce is famous for horse meat~! oh well he is those adventurous kind so... yep we decided to have a farewell dinner b4 his departure the next day... seriously this guy single handedly write a excel worksheet for the company to use in doin its expenditures and stuff ... was impressed by him =) but too short a time to know him nvm got his contacts le lol...

so we race susie aicheng siew peng and wl(aaron kwok) went for some seafood zhu chao near chinese garden area... order 8 main dishes of seafood~! yeah pure seafood omg~! waited for super long b4 we got serve... first up hong kong styled steamed fish --> rating 9/10 superb the "juice" of it was fresh and nice almost gobble up my rice with just this dish... cereal prawn --> 9.5/10 super BIG prawn with nice smelling cereal.. though really high in cholestrol but who cares ... yummy =p crabs serve in salted egg, chilli and black pepper .... 6/10 dun really like la cos spicy ... in the end super full

30th May - who else bday... Jun lin's la...

yeah his bday on 30th and his indecisiveness has shown as it was the very last minute tt we decided on where we should had our dinner celebration and stuff ... in the end horny fu pangseh us.. leaving us with boon yanxi desmond ja and me to celebrate with his 22nd bday ~! haha ... 2nd time at NewYork^2 and for this 2 times i order the main dish which is unproportionate to my size... it is puny as compared to their ribs and burgers ... gotta treasure every shred of the fish n chip i order haiz....

next we order dessert me and js overkilled ourself by ordering "super sinful" stuff ie "lake chocolate" and my "mudpie with choc ice cream" super sinful and after a few bites u kind of get sick of it so lesson learnt share ur dessert ....

soon after roam ard city hall and bugis to find a nice place to chill while awaiting horny fu to arrive... the indecisiveness of jun is back again cant decide on where to go ... (p.s. u suc man =p) so fu arrived and direct us to somewhere nice at orchard know as alley bar =) nice ambience took some photos in the dark ... cant get it clearly gonna upgrade my camera phone~! ... but in the end went to acid bar (just beside alley bar) where we open a bottle of tequilla to celebrate jun's bday~!

fu wrote a dedication to the performers to announce ha.. "hope my fren jun here find a ger fren" haha make him sounds so desperate in the end the performers keep teasing him ... so we carry on with our drinking session ... boon the orange juice drinker dun want touch alcohol but in the end still gamely drank one when he lost at the "cai quan" part... then cck and danson arrive... danson ever bz with his SMU FOC was still online with his lappie doin proj sighz... cck quikly indulge in the alcohol heaven and in the end he got drunk after losing str 5-0 of scissors paper stones (cck u noob~!)

31st May - Prelude to Euro 08

woke up late the following day but the soccer tournament, held by cliffton's church, gg to start only at 1 pm... but it rain the whole morning so u can expect the field to be muddy ... yes the green field tot it would be on hard concrete soccer court so brought a long my brooks instead of a proper soccer boots.. (though i dun ahve 1 haha)....

so we play in the rainy and muddy condition.. started as a subtitute in the first match... as marcus was oversized by the opponent cliffton the captain sent us in but it was too late we still lost 2-0 sobx

next match we are on fire and every1 was working hard on the ball .. me and kok hold the defence well and manage to repel every atk and chee keet keep barking "good" good haha best chance fell to alan but due to the slippery condition haiz he misses haha ...

so after a few matches we erach the quarter final... opponent are speedy and strong... as i was entering the pitch me slipped and fell on the ground in front of all the people ... stupid brooks... so paiseh.. endure a few laughs from the opponent sia geez... fought hard but in the end lost to a great solo goal from the opponent where he smashes from a tight corner ... it was 845 pm by then le~! and we bathe and had our well deserved meal at adam food centre ...

so in the near future we will be having sunday soccer at alternating weeks so interested party pls come =) feels good to be with the army specs .. cos it is one of the best army time i had.. good to reunite with them thru a common goal once again... net year we shld try captain's ball~! hehex

met up with benjamin, jin tai, jin long (zhen de), and xin ying (so called pwee fat) i supposed she was a prefect in the past.. the last 3 were secondary sch mates so they weer quite close to each other... had a very fun singing session... showsmanship of jin long is like WOW.. haha nv fail to entertain us time and time again.. truly entertained by him almost gan ran by his "dong li" maybe next time i will stand up and sing with him haha ...

all his alien toking and ee yore stun nv feel to tickle me .. haha nv had such a great laughing session too le lolz... had pasta mania in the evening .. clearly overpriced these days but nvm ... tok cock with xinying and benjamin over the dinner till like nearly 10 pm hha (didnt even realise time flies) haha next time mahjong or another singing session go~


2nd June - still counting....

yeah monday blues dozing off here and there during work chatting here and there during msn ... drink pokka coffee to keep me awake ... cos in the night still got 4K OUTING... i was like thinking omg ~ i cant tahan anymore outings le super tired hhaa esp the late timing i reach home ...

the thing tt kept me awake - barely though~

the turnout was GREAT... within 2 days of notice we managed to gather like 19 people to come ... could have been more if not for danson reservice and javin trip to japan and dennis overseas trng... had a part of Sushi Tei reserved for us .. super grand haha almost like 1/16 of sushi tei is occupied by us ... has already been 8 years since we knew each other ... tok here and there with each other realise tt almost all of 4K gers are attached and almost all of 4K boys are still not attached.. chk out the ratio man... think UNI is a matchmaking society...

jap food there seriously nt worth the money (cant A better lo ) lol ... but haiz it is the atmosphere there tt allows us to tok so comfortably la hah ... more outings next time~!
